The CREC University of Hartford Magnet School boasts a unique curriculum inspired by Dr. Howard Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences. Dr. Gardner's theory encourages students to explore their learning through the eight intelligences; bodily-kinesthetic; interpersonal; intrapersonal; linguistic; logical-mathematical; musical; naturalistic; and visual-spatial. At the CREC University of Hartford Magnet School, staff work together to identify and teach to each child's individual talents and strengths to ensure that all students are challenged and supported.
